PHYSICAL THERAPIST AND FOUNDER
Panayiotis Hios, PT, DPT, OCS, MTC
Dr. Panayiotis “Pan” Hios was raised and has lived in the Pascack Valley area for his entire life. He is excited and grateful for the opportunity to work within the community that he grew up in.
Dr. Hios holds a Doctorate of Physical Therapy, is Board-Certified as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapist Specialties, and is certified as a Manual Therapist. He has extensive experience in working with orthopedic and sports-related injuries and helping individuals achieve their functional goals. He does have a particular interest in the added effect of manual therapy on patient progress in conjunction with exercise. Most recently, he was a Clinical Director at a larger orthopedic physical therapy practice. He founded The Physio Room to create a more effective patient-centered model with a better level of care that provides positive and attainable changes in one’s life.
He lives an active lifestyle and has played soccer throughout his entire life. With experience at the local, club, high school, and college levels, he understands the physical and mental demands of playing sports at a highly competitive level. He was also a track athlete in high school.
When he is not in the clinic, he enjoys spending his time playing soccer in a local men’s league, running, traveling, learning about new cultures, and spending time with his wife and two daughters.
PHYSICAL THERAPIST
Griffin Meyers, PT, DPT
Dr. Griffin Meyers, is a Bergen County native with a lifelong passion for health and fitness. He studied Exercise Science at Ithaca College, where he was also a member of the NCAA Lacrosse team and the club Ice Hockey team. After completing his undergraduate studies, Griffin went on to earn his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from New York Medical College.
Outside of his professional work, Griffin embraces an active lifestyle. Whether he’s golfing, fishing, snowboarding, biking, or spending time with his wife and their golden retriever, he’s always looking for new ways to stay moving and explore the outdoors. Griffin brings that same energy and curiosity to his work, helping others reach their health and performance goals through movement and mindful living.
OFFICE MANAGER
Deb McNamara
Deb McNamara is our Office Manager at The Physio Room. She brings with her, 25 years of experience of running a successful service business alongside her husband. Deb’s role at The Physio Room is keeping the practice running efficiently and keeping us all in line! Deb enjoys speaking with our patients and helping them find the right fit for them. She takes the time to verify insurance coverage and keeps our schedules running smoothly.
Deb also has plenty of experience with our office personally. She (as well as her entire family) have been patients and truly understand the patient experience and can relate to our patients and how they feel- good and bad!
Deb lives an active lifestyle and enjoys spending time in the gym and with her family.
CLINICAL ASSISTANT
Brandon Fajardo
Brandon Fajardo is our clinical assistant at The Physio Room and helps keep our facility a warm and welcoming environment. In his role, he works to keep smooth day to day operations in the clinic. He attended Fairleigh Dickinson University and studied Biology with a concentration in Anatomy and Physiology and minored in Psychology. Brandon will be a student at Dominican University's Doctor of Physical Therapy Program starting in the Summer of 2025. He enjoys being able to be a part of our patient’s recovery and is passionate about the science of movement and rehabilitation. He is passionate about helping people recover and improve their physical health. He believes it is rewarding to be part of a team that make a real difference in patients' lives. He is excited and looks forward to furthering his studies and pursuing a career in physical therapy. In his free time he likes to hike, play soccer and spend time with family and friends.
