About The Physio Room
Our Why
The Physio Room was founded in 2021 by Panayiotis Hios, PT, DPT, OCS, MTC. He is passionate about helping people find solutions when they feel that they will just have to live with their pain. Unfortunately, it is all too common to be told to just stop an activity if it hurts. For some this might be okay, but for others, rest is not an option. For some, an activity such as a walk, run, workout, or recreational hobby may be a stress reliever. It can have a negative outcome to be told just to stop. We are committed and devoted to helping our patients achieve their own success story. We completely understand the frustration, the uncertainty, the ups, and the downs when dealing with orthopedic related issues. We wanted a different experience for our clients from the current standard of physical therapy. We saw the need to build a community where patients could be heard, where they deserved more, and where they were provided with the roadmap to achieving their goals. We are building a community where patients that are willing to put in the work can thrive.
Our Mission
To provide our patients and clients with the best available treatments through high-level education and experience, evidence-based practice, and quality customer service. We plan to build relationships with our patients that foster quick recoveries from injuries and thoroughly guided management strategies. We will provide an unsurpassable physical therapy experience that is sought out and well respected. We will build relationships through trust, respect, and good communication.
A Modern Approach:
3 Step Process
When you contact our office and prior to scheduling, we want to take the time to speak with you. We want to determine that our practice is the right solution for your problem. We understand you may have some questions. We want to answer those questions and make sure that we are the right experts for you.
Empower.
The beginning of your recovery starts with the initial evaluation. At the first appointment our goal is to discuss your orthopedic issue and the problems that you are having. Dealing with any pain or an injury can be frustrating. Being an active participant in the recovery process is crucial. We want to help you by providing you with the tools to succeed. This step can consist of helping you make modifications so that you can continue to be active and workout while recovering from your injury. Through education, you will understand your injury, what to expect, and what each step towards your goals should look like. We want you to be in control of your injury with a game plan. Our goal is to have you confident in the process while starting to see a decrease in pain and improvement in your mobility.
Build.
Once we have a game plan and you feel in control, our goal is to build a solid foundation for you. We want to build on your function through improving your mobility, flexibility, and strength. You should start to move better and feel stronger. Our goal is to see improvements in your pain levels, range of motion, strength, endurance, and functional movement patterns.
Perform.
The final step of the process is when you start to reap the fruits of your labor. You have put the hard work in and it is now time to return back to the activities that you love and are of most importance to YOU. We want you to perform at your greatest potential. Our goal for perform is to see you achieve your functional goals. At this stage, you should be strong and confident in your movement. This can look like performing movements you will see at your fitness class or return to sport activities.
“My son has had orthopedic issues since birth and multiple surgeries. I struggled to find a physical therapist to fit his changing needs, as he grew from a small boy to a big teen! We started with Pan several years ago, and I couldn't be happier with Pan's knowledge, patience and positive attitude, which all made a world of difference for my son. I also personally used Pan for my own complicated orthopedic course after knee surgery. My son and I finally graduated from PT! I highly recommend Pan to anyone looking for a skilled and compassionate physical therapist!”
